Fields of Change

One standout project is what we call the Fields of Change project, which delivers a unique dual impact - supporting regional nature conservation projects close to home in combination with climate projects far across the globe that meet international standards and verifiably reduce or avoid carbon emissions. A contribution crucial to help narrow the global financing gap in climate action.

Local:

In North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, it enriches biodiversity by transforming species-poor agricultural areas into thriving habitats. This includes planting hedges, creating flower strips, and establishing ponds to support wildlife migration and healthy ecosystems. Intact peatlands store significant amounts of carbon, so they play an important role for our climate.

Global:

The project funds certified initiatives, such as providing clean drinking water in Malawi. By reducing the need to boil water over open fires, it significantly cuts CO₂ emissions while improving public health.
